ABOUT ME

When I moved from Italy to Scotland in 2006, I would have never imagined the amazing journey awaiting for me. With a scientific background, I learned a lot in the Oil and Gas industry. I travelled, and met amazing (and not) people. I was also allowed a privileged point of view into the complex issue that is climate change, which gave me the opportunity to better understand the energy dynamics that we, as humanity, are deep into.

​However, my dream has always been movies. Writing them, making them, watching them, being part of the "moving" world. When I was made redundant in 2015, I took the chance to follow my dreams and started studying again. Today, I work with arts organisations on documentaries about artists and I help scientists making films to highlight climate change issues. I want to explore more about motherhood and daughterhood, the two stages of my life that have defined me the most.
